This was my first attempt to really try drawing something on smooth Bristol. I like the picture but I’m still not so sure about the Bristol.

Thank you. And I did do this one by hand but a lot of the stuff in my galery is dome with digital mediums.

Graphite on bristol? Hmm. It does have its ups and downs. It's really great for markers, though, and pens and ink (and tolerable even for graphite)...

Does the fisher have a name? For what does one fish from such an island? Dreams?

I find a vellum finish on bristol works well. (That's what I like to use almost exclusively), I really like this piece, love the curl of the border.
